The base level 1 game is a line wins game that has 25 fixed lines that pay in both directions on a 5×3 game grid with cascading bonus symbols. There are individual cherry symbols along with a single match that, when lined up correctly, trigger an explosion. The cherry explosion destroys the symbols above, below and to the sides of the cherry and new ones cascade down from the top to increase your chances of winning.
Level 1 offers “2nd Chance spin” for times when the match and wick are not lined up correctly but have the potential to be. This gives players one more chance for a Cherry explosion. Level 2 starts when enough explosions fill the level up meter. This is a Cluster-Wins game played on a 6×4 grid with an additional double cherry bomb symbol. The player receives 5 free spins at the start of Level 2 and needs to have enough explosions to remain. The double cherry bomb symbol along with the double match works the same way as in Level 1, with the absence of the “second chance spin”.
The double cherry bomb explosion destroys all adjacent symbols and replaces them with the same randomly chosen symbols to create a winning cluster. Level 3 is also a Cluster-Wins game but is played on a 7×5 game grid with an additional Triple Cherry Bomb symbol. The Triple Cherry Bomb symbol appears only on reel 4 and combines 3 wicks into one that faces left or right. When it explodes, it destroys all symbols and replaces them with the same randomly chosen symbol. The cherry bomb symbols do not pay, but once they explode, they add to the side level up meter. The explosion is triggered by a match symbol, but only once lined up with the wick of a Cherry Bomb.
Game Symbols: Cherry Bombs
Cherry Bomb symbols themselves do not pay. However, when they explode, they have the potential to create additional wins. Cherry Bomb explosions also contribute energy to the Level-Up meter which controls the level of gameplay. All initial wins in a spin – whether they are line wins in the base game, or cluster wins in the feature levels – are always paid before any Cherry Bomb explosions occur.
Cherry Bombs are triggered to explode by special Matchstick symbols that, when aligned with the fuse of a Cherry Bomb, will cause an explosion. A Cherry Bomb can also be triggered to explode by being in the blast zone of another Cherry Bomb explosion. A Cherry Bomb cannot be triggered by a Matchstick appearing on the same reel as the result of a cascade. There are three types of Cherry Bombs:
Single Cherry Bomb
Can appear in all 3 levels of gameplay and on any reel. On reels 2, 3, & 4, the ‘fuse’ can lean to either the left or right. If this symbol appears on reel 1, the ‘fuse’ will only lean to the right, and on reel 5 it will only lean to the left. Whenever Single Cherry Bombs explode, they destroy the symbols immediately above, below, and to the left and right of them.
In Level 1 (the base game), the explosion will cause the symbols above the blast area to cascade down and potentially create additional line wins and possibly even additional Cherry Bomb explosions. In Levels 2 & 3, the single Cherry Bomb explodes in the same pattern, however, instead of causing a cascade, all symbols affected by the explosion – including the triggering Matchstick(s) – will be replaced by the same, randomly chosen, regular symbol.
Double Cherry Bomb
Only appears in feature Level 2 and only on the middle reels (2, 3, 4, & 5). It has two fuses that lean both left and right. When it explodes, it will destroy all adjacent symbols around it, including the triggering Matchstick(s), and replace them with the same, randomly chosen, regular symbol to create a winning cluster.
Triple Cherry Bomb
Only appears in feature Level 3 and only on the center reel (reel 4). It has three fuses that are combined into a single fuse which can lean either to the right or left. When it explodes, it will destroy all symbols on the 5×7 game grid and replace them with the same, randomly chosen, regular symbol.
Game Symbols: Matchstick triggers
There are two types of special ignition symbols which, while they themselves do not pay, can trigger Cherry Bomb explosions.
Single Matchstick
Can appear in all 3 levels of gameplay and on all reels. Any appearing on reels 2, 3, & 4 can point either up or down and to the left or right. Any appearing on reel 1 will only point up or down to the right. Any appearing on reel 5 will only point up or down to the left.
Double Matchstick
Appears only in levels 2 & 3. In Level 2 on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5. In Level 3 on reels 3 and 5. Points to both the left and the right and can point either up or down.
2nd Chance Spin
If a Single Matchstick appears near a Cherry Bomb symbol but it is not pointing towards the fuse, then the Matchstick spins to give a 1-in-4 chance of triggering the Cherry Bomb to explode. The odds of triggering a Cherry Bomb may be increased if more than one Cherry Bomb is adjacent to the Matchstick.

Level-Up Meter
Advancing to the higher levels of gameplay is dependent on the number of sequential explosions of any Cherry Bombs. Each time a Cherry Bomb explodes, it will add a certain amount of energy to the Level-Up Meter which can be seen on either side of the reels. Once the meter reaches a sufficient energy level, the player is awarded 5 free spins for moving up from Level 1 to Level 2, and 10 Free Spins for moving up from Level 2 to Level 3.
No free spins are awarded when dropping down from any level. The energy level will not decrease for the duration of the free spins, but it can increase if any Cherry Bomb explosions occur during those free spins. If, after the free spins have played out, there are not enough sequential Cherry Bomb explosions to sustain the new level, the gameplay will drop back down to the previous level.
Cascading Symbols: Level 1 only
After the initial line wins are paid, any symbols destroyed by a Cherry Bomb explosion are removed, and the symbols above the explosion drop down. Further line wins are then possible (but not guaranteed).
Cluster Wins: Levels 2 and 3 only
A winning cluster is defined as 4 or more of the same symbol landing adjacently – either horizontally or vertically. When Cherry Bombs explode, if two or more resulting clusters overlap and happen to be replaced with the same, randomly chosen symbol, then these are counted as one large cluster. If two or more clusters overlap with different, randomly chosen symbols, the higher-paying symbols will land on the reels instead of the lower-paying symbols in the adjacent cluster(s). Only the highest win per cluster is paid.
